Tan Chau, An Giang – A Region of Cultural and Religious Diversity
Tan Chau is a town in An Giang Province in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta. The area has a long history, a diverse cultural background and a landscape shaped by the river system of the southwest. It is also home to Kinh, Cham, Hoa and Khmer communities, which contributes to a rich mix of cultural and religious traditions.
Geographical Location
Tan Chau lies in the western part of An Giang Province near the Cambodian border and around 70 km west of Long Xuyen. Its position has historically supported trade, transport, agriculture and cross-border exchange.
Culture and Beliefs
The area includes a variety of Buddhist and folk-religious traditions. This cultural context is relevant to memorial design because family customs, religious practices and local expectations can affect the form and detailing of a grave monument.

KANNO approaches each project with attention to fabrication, installation and final finishing. We appreciate the family’s trust in KANNO for this memorial.

Why Indian Black Granite Is Used for Memorials
Durability: Natural granite has high hardness and good resistance to outdoor conditions when properly selected and installed.
Appearance: Indian Black Granite provides a deep dark tone and polished surface that creates a formal, refined memorial appearance.
Maintenance: A properly finished granite surface is relatively straightforward to clean and maintain.
Customization: Granite components can be fabricated in different dimensions and forms to suit the family’s requirements and the actual cemetery plot.
